Abstract

Abstract. The modern realities of martial law require pre-trial investigation bodies to adopt new approaches to investigating criminal offenses, particularly those committed by organized crime groups. Criminal organizations exploit the unstable situation in the country and the vulnerability of state borders to achieve their goals. Tactical interrogation techniques under such conditions become a key element of successful investigations. The purpose of this article is to highlight the tactical techniques used during interrogations in the investigation of criminal offenses committed by organized crime groups under martial law. The research employed general scientific and specialized legal methods, including comparative-legal, systemic-structural, and systemic analysis methods. The author identifies that the circumstances to be established during interrogations in the investigation of criminal offenses committed by organized crime groups under martial law include both the general circumstances of the criminal offense and the circumstances of the creation and functioning of the organized crime group. The scope of questions to be clarified during interrogations depends on the role of the individual being interrogated (suspect, witness, victim, accomplice), as well as the specifics of the criminal activity. Interrogating members of an organized crime group is one of the most complex and multifaceted tasks in criminal proceedings. This complexity arises from both the structural and operational characteristics of the criminal group and the strategic behavioral approaches of its members. The effectiveness of interrogations depends on the comprehensive use of tactical techniques, a creative approach to resolving complex situations, and the ability to adapt methodologies to the conditions of martial law.
